Biography

Cruor - (lat) blood

Unlike most Pearlcatchers (who tend to be cowardly), Cruor is a vicious warrior. His clanmates, especially his brothers, claim it is the Imperial blood that courses through their veins. During a fierce battle between Light and Shadow, Cruor's brother Caelyx left to fight for the Shadowbinder, a high honor that Cruor was presented with as well, but respectfully declined. Instead he fought alongside his remaining nestmates to claim his place as guardian of the clan, a role he takes very seriously. Wayward travelers will encounter Cruor long before they come anywhere near the clan and had better have a good excuse to get past him.
