History
Solanum was born into a cult of dragons obsessed with death, working with all sorts of evil entities, and doing unspeakable things to innocent dragons. When she hatched with the skeletal design across her body, many of the cult members believed she would be the ultimate sacrifice to their dark patrons. Others thought that she herself was a death goddess trapped in physical form and needed to be freed so she could guide them from the Beyond. As the cult made preparations for Solanum’s ritual, Astar and Hagar flew away with her, rescuing her from an untimely fate. Eventually they happened upon Maeve and Shirshaw’s clan and were made members. While she escaped the cult with little time to learn their ways, Solanum still had a strange fascination with death. She dabbled in necromancy, gathered poisonous plants, and collected any dead thing she could find. By the time she reached adulthood she had a small army of reanimated familiars ready at her command. Though the rest of the clan found it somewhat unnerving, it was otherwise harmless and they let her have her fun. Solanum and the original five clan members now search for the remains of their elders to reanimate and council with. |
