______ Though she may not look it, Techna is among the oldest creatures residing within the lands of the fae. She is a rare creature, one that is not a fae but creature bor of the elements themselves. She is a storm spirit, born of a lightning strike that should have destroyed the egg lad within the land of shadows. It's unknown what exactly she would have been if not for this, her parents having been long gone when she hatched. They probably thought their offspring lost, something she can't fault them for. She should have been.

______ Instead she was altered by that lightning strike; becomng an imortal embodement of the storm itself. Even she is unsure what her kind would be called, but some have given her the name of 'thunderbird', as wherever she goes a storm often follows; lightning sparking to life wth each flap of her wings and thunder coming with each cry.

______ This was the only name she had had for millennia, having never had much need for one as she rarely interacted with other living creatures and storms rarely had names. That was, until she met her mate-a young Gremln by the name of Link that she couldn't help but smile around, despite the how... odd the expression felt. He claimed that every creature needed a name and granted her the one she bears now.
