Co-captain of the Dawn Maiden, Brynhild is the one who directs the crew's day to day work. Her and her wife, Captain Larcei, both maintain a high standard for their company, and anyone who can work is expected to. Crewmates caught slacking by them will be left on land next time the ship docks. The one thing that sets them apart from their wife is that the ridgeback is known to be less harsh on new hires. This is probably for the best, as Bryn is the one who trains said new hires, and if left to Larcei the ship might not have any crew. But Bryn loves her wife, even if she's a bit strict and aloof. The two have known each other for decades and the love they share is vast as the sea itself.
