Low within the undercity bowels of Unsol, waters pool together to form a flat, cylindrical well. Deep-set within the ancient cobble rock, ice akin to glass spans over its flawless, unrippling surface.
Transfixed, you peer into its cavity. You are met with only pitch darkness; the kind to make your eyes unfix, so solid that you cannot decipher whether it ends a foot deep, or stretches down into eternity. The only tangible image you can fixate on is your own reflection.
A terrible, inexorable calling chills you down your spine. It wraps itself within your inner thoughts, assimilating itself so seamlessly that you are urged forward of what feels like your own volition. Deep within yourself, you know it's not yours.
You cannot turn away.
The mirror is shattered by your weight, and into the abyss you plunge. It is cold as ice, but is not wet. The illusioned euphoria from before is torn from you, regret screaming in your veins as profane horrors you were never meant to witness accost your senses.
You are in Unsol's true domain now, and you are stricken blind by its depravity.
