Maitake

Maitake was just a hatchling when he was Auctioned by his clan. He was very wary of his new home at first, but his room was great and comfortable and he got very good treatment! Copper assigned Mike the Murkmith Corven to watch over him, afterall he seemed perfect for the job as Corven are known to be only slightly larger than a Fae, about the same size as a grown Nocturne! It was quite a boring job however and remained that way for some time.

As he grew into his pre-teens, he got smarter and more clever. Mike decided he had enough of babysitting. So he invited Maitake to a game. To Mike's delight, he agreed. After that day, they grew much closer. They would play all sorts of strategic games like cards, chess, checkers and other games of the sort.

Maitake was now in his late teens. He was given a Shade Emblem, a fancy coat, and a brambly halo. He became quite elementally powerful!

One day, the clan took in some mushrooms to convert into food. Being named after a mushroom he was quite educated on mushrooms, so he immediately shouted "Stop! That mushroom is highly poisonous!" and they stopped immediately. Having saved the clan from a poisonous mushroom, from that day on he was declared the mushroom prince! He applied for being a gardener, and was accepted! He was very good at it, and to this day, he still plays games with Mike in his free time too!
