Subzero was just a hatchling when he was auctioned. The Amberfeather clan took him in and taught him everything he needed to know. He was frightened being away from his home, and was quite shaky. He would've stayed like that for a while too, if it weren't for Juniper, his Familiar. Juniper took care of him like a mom and watched him grow. Subzero thought of Juniper just like he would a mother!

In his mid-teens, he was gifted with a frigid emblem, a halo, and an Ice-Trolabe along with a fancy new skin! Thanks to this apparel, he quickly became quite a powerful mage!

Into his late teens, it was time to get a job. Under Lightning's watch, he got a part-time job as a cook for the Dripcave Dregs! He could get a better full-time job when he officially became an adult. When he reached adulthood he got promoted to a full-time guard for the prison, and he became Lightning's coworker! Additionally, thanks to his old part-time job, he's now quite the chef!
