Somnus

Somnus (Som-nus) and Summanus (”Sue”-maw-nus), respectively, were twins born into a workaholic Lightning Clan who were severely dedicated to their purpose and Deity.

The twins were very lazy with their day to day tasks. Obviously, this did not make any members of the Lightning Flight happy- especially Stormcatcher himself. To top it off, whenever they did not feel lazy, they kept their minds busy with making life a minor inconvenience to those of the Lightning Flight with various pranks, and picking fun at pet peeves. Again, this did not bode well with Stormcatcher. So, naturally, the two were kicked out.

So, they traveled across Sornieth, wreaking havoc upon the dragon Clans they joined. Each and every time, they were kicked out due to either their laziness or annoyance. Most likely both, though. It was after they got kicked out of a Plague Clan, did they happen upon the Tir nAill Clan. Acting coy and cute, the brothers managed to wiggle their way into the clan… Immediately after being initiated into the clan by the Naming Ceremony, the two settled down real fast. Too fast. The first day they spent in the clan after initiation, they were already getting into trouble. The two would find herbs and mushrooms to eat that would give them visions, and under this influence, they brought annoyance to what little clan members there were at the time. They started pulling pranks, bothering their clanmates by triggering them through their pet peeves, and they often go into the woods to do Unholy Shade knows what. Though, in recent times, there have been hatchlings spotted outside of the clan that look very much like the brothers... And still, the Clan kept them, and still keeps them.

The two brothers really have no place in the clan outside of the now hesitant good nature of the Founders. Though, they do make good thefts, and would often be hired by the scheming Apep to go out and steal items and what not from other clans. Hey, it can’t be too bad if the intention is good! Can it?

Somnus is the much calmer of the two (still not saying much as he is a Spiral), while Summanus is the more hyper of the two. However, Somnus is usually more of the scheming brain of the two, while Summanus is the one who actually carriers out the schemes.
