I stand like a tower that gazes eastwards. I trust my brothers and sisters to watch my rear. I am the warrior — protector of those who follow Lightweaver. By my steadfastness I'm the beast of Her Sun.

Sound, adamant, strong and witty, the youngest ever to ascend as Beast. Varottu is truly the perfect daughter and apple of her mothers eye. She grew quickly, almost unnaturally so, and took her vows merely a week after hatching. She grows in power daily, overtaking her teachers, and yet instantly obeys officers who lecture her, despite both knowing she was right in anything they were arguing about. She has the gifts of patience and humbleness, at least for now. Who knows what she'll become, and what could happen should she stray from the path?
