Havulintu's Clan

For months have you been lost at the sea, but now finally the waves have cast you ashore. With your little remaining strength you drag your wary bones towards a burning light shining behind the coastal dunes. There towers a majestic settlement — Sandcastle — more impressive than you ever dared to dream. It is surrounded by a wall made of honey coloured dragon glass that reflects distant roars and flashes of breath attacks. Excitement of battle fills your soul, but your body is too weak and you collapse.

The dragons of my clan call themselves the Sunbathers. We reside at the sunny shores of Sunbeam Ruins at the edge of Emperor's Wake, just beside water lairs of Tsunami Flats. The ruling elite lives in the Sandcastle which was built on an ancient enchanted mosaic. The magical property of the castle is, that it stays just above the waterline regardless of tides and never collapses no matter how many grains are blown off. Some sand is always flying away from its slowly spinning spires, but the castle never seems to diminish.

Sunbathers are tribals living off the sea, swimming in its warm waters and lazing off on the golden beaches. My Clan has many hunters who hawk patiently on sealife: from salty needle like fish to mighty leviathans alike. Quite a few are warriors who bring home riches from all reaches of Sornieth, and some are invested in elemental or divine magic.

We have attracted many dragons from other elemental flights, which has helped the clan grow, but has on the other hand brought into collaboration a colourful scale of different minds and interests which can be problematic. Dragons, after all, love to compete and wage conflict.


From the humble beginnigs my clan was always fractioned and divided. Various families and factions compete in power. The clan leader is called the High Chieftain, who rules over other chieftains. High Chieftain is chosen by an Elder Shaman in a moot with other chieftains.

Among Sunbathers there are several powerful families and factions: The Packs. Currently three major packs and a few lesser ones excist. First pack consists of Lightweaver fanatics, named Beasts of Her Sun.

Another very handsome pack calls themselves the Surfers. Its amphibious and laid back members are best adapted in beach life, but its wardancers are known to be fierce in their animistic rage.

The final major power is a mysterious pack called The Friendly Lanterns. They are a secretive bunch that dwells apart from others deep in the ruins of The Hewn City. The Friendly Lanterns prefer to work from shadows, but are no doubt loyal champions of Light. They were pulling the strings in Tuira's Rebellion, where the progenitor and original High Chieftain, Parahin, was overthrown.
