any hizzle let's start this shizzle...

Hawks is a dragon that looks like he doesn't have a care in the world most of the time. He's a carefree dragon that acts friendly and cheerful to all he comes across. He doesn't care much for authority or formality, however, and will act casual during situations unless it is absolutely necessary to do otherwise. Even then, he will always go about it on his own terms.

He often acts in an impulsive and unpredictable way. He thinks that planning out things is a waste of time that could be put towards doing something. While in action, Hawks' cocky and taunting side comes into play, but mostly while going up against someone. He likes to get a rise out of others if only to keep the fun going. Him being talkative and able to have long-winded conversations definitely helps with this. He'll talk your ears off if you let him.

Being an "In the Moment" type of dragon, Hawks can seem like he's uninterested in most things, especially if such things require lots of planning or idle work. Sitting still irks him, and he isn't above making it known that he'd rather do something exciting. This changes when it involves his friends, who he gives his life to in terms of commitment. He's more willing to sit still and behave for them, but he'd still whine about wanting to do something else. He's a free-spirit through and through.

Born for both speed and maneuverability, Hawks body has a slim build with not much muscle definition to it. He's also a bit on the short scale in terms of height. His antlers aren't very long either, instead, they don't have as many prongs as normal and are a bit thicker. They curve backward and down, towards his back and not straight up as is the standard.

His mane has a feathery look to it, and it's naturally swept backward as if the wind is constantly blowing it along. This even applies to his eyebrows. Though the fur around his arms and legs seemed to have avoided this look, it's just naturally wavy. He has gem studs in both of his ears. The colour of which is the same striking blue as his eyes. His antlers have a random assortment of silver bands on them. There's not too many of them since it's a hassle to take them off and on.

Lil Tidbits: Hawks is never seen without his goggles. Whether they are on his face, in his mane or around his neck; the goggles are on his person always. It's assumed that he never takes the things off, as he even wears them to bed. He doesn't get angry when they are touched, but he will casually walk away if they are messed with. The perpetrator usually gets a pat on the head and a lecture about respecting others property.

One of Hawks' favourite pastimes is flying through storms. It doesn't really matter which kind either; rain, ice, fire, tornadoes, hurricanes- it's all wonderful. He absolutely loves thunderstorms, taking much joy in flying through the storm clouds and seeing lightning up close. He's a bit of a thrill chaser, too. He feels the most alive and free flying in the stormy sky. He'll even brag about all the times his antlers have unwillingly become lightning rods and he'd been zapped as a result. Such a thrill, he'd state in his excitement. You've got to try it! (Please don't.)

With that being said, Hawks is exceptionally skilled in his birth magic. He has the ability to freely control it. He can make it weak enough to be no more harmful than a static shock or as powerful as an angry lightning strike from the wildest parts of the Shifting Expanse. How easily he is able to summon it from his person depends on the weather and how much magic he has in his reserves. The colour of his manufactured lighting varies. Normally it is a blue-ish white, but sometimes it can take on a yellow tint. Hawks isn't too sure what changes the colour, but he's working on narrowing it down.
