DuringThe Search, Eliana wandered from her original home in the Tangled Wood watched over by the Shadowbinder to the domain of the Lightweaver within the Sunbeam Ruins, and at first she was frightened of the land’s brightness in contrast to the darkness of her former home, but she soon developed a love for all things within the light. Eliana could only dream of creating a small clan within the Lightweaver’s domain, but she knew it would be futile since she had already scoured the lands in search of her potential charge, but to no avail - her charge was not here.

Eliana knew she would have to move on from the Sunbeam Ruins to continue on her search for her charge, but for as long as she could, she remained, overlooking the lands and postponing another move. As the sun continued to rise and set over a solitary dragon, Eliana began to care less for searching for her charge and more for staying within the Lightweaver’s realm. One fateful day, a sense of longing caused Eliana to move from her spot and wander the Hewn City which bordered the Shifting Expanse.

As Eliana wandered the Southern border of the Sunbeam Ruins she came across the dehydrated, injured body of a Tangerine coloured, male Tundra laying at the border of the Scorching Ruins. Overwhelmed by a sense of instinct to save and revive the Tundra, Eliana hauled his unconscious body to the Sundial Terrace where she began the lengthy process of trying to heal him. In the process of his recovery, Eliana had dug out a den beneath the Terrace so that the Tundra had somewhere to keep cool. Then, he finally awoke. His name was Whittaker, and when he told the Guardian his story, Eliana realized that the sense of longing she had originally felt when she found him was her instinct to take him as her charge. After they both shared their stories they began to develop a budding romance and quickly became lovers. The rest is written in a scroll, stashed among a plethora of other scrolls of varying subjects.
