Elodea
— What Comes Must End Eventually —

Autumn priests know that the decay of plants, the withering of life in preparation for winter, is just as natural as the spring growth. Yet, many who align themselves with Nature, regard these Autumn priests and followers with suspicion, claiming that they care more for the power of Plague than true Nature. Elodea is one of the highest ranking Autumn priests, having been a part of their efforts since nearly the beginning. She works mainly as an ambassador. She spreads the message of Autumn and attempts to allay fears and dissolve rumors. While diplomatic, Elodea also has a sharp temper. She knows when others are innocently ignorant and when they're maliciously ignorant. She has no patience for the latter and can get into some fearsome arguments when she comes up against these individuals. But with those willing to listen and learn, she is patient and eager to teach. Elodea spends much of her time traveling around the edge of the Viridian Labyrinth. Occasionally, she makes forays into other areas though never for very long.
• Elodea communicates extensively with other priests. She regularly has falcons and other messenger birds traveling with her. A result of this is she's become really good with bird calls.
• She has a strong taste for meat. She doesn't like eating around others because she tends to get messy.
• Though a priestess in rank, Elodea has very little natural magic of her own. She can perform rituals and other rites but using raw magic is often beyond her reach.
• She likes to sleep in trees. She'll weave branches together to make a hammock-like nest. Her clothing and natural coloring makes it easy for Elodea to blend in among the leaves.
• The wolf pelt is Elodea's pride and joy. She's careful to keep it clean and in prime condition to show off the glossy quality of the golden fur.
• When Elodea becomes angry, her voice deepens several pitches and becomes raspy. This doesn't typically help the impression that Autumn priests are actually against Nature. She tries to prevent this by coughing often as she argues.
