History:

They originated from a young dragon who loved to watch the stars at night. Every night they would look upon the stars with awe, amazed by their beauty, inspired by their knowledge. Driven to learn more the child picked up on astrology, reading all the tomes and scrolls they could find in hopes of learning all the secrets of the beauty they saw above them. Life was peaceful and good for the child, they spent all the time they could

One day the child wandered far away from home, following what they believed to be a map in the sky. As time passed, the child slowly came to realize that they were lost, with only the stars above watching them. Alone they wandered through the night, hopelessly trying to return home, until they came to stop by a clear pond, the night sky reflected in its still waters. The child was tried, and gazed silently at their reflection in the water, then up to the sky. "If you are listening up there...Please lend me your powers so I can go home..." They whispered to the glistening sky. Their only reply was a shooting star, and the chirps of bugs in the distance.

Exhaustion soon overcame the young dragon and they fell forward into the pond. As they sunk farther and farther into the water they instantly started to panic and flail about to no avail. They stopped their actions at once as they noticed the water was not quite water, and they were surrounded by a glistening, spiraling smoke, a nebula packed with stars. This nebula engulfed the young dragon and when they were able to see once more, they realized they were at the shore of the pond they had just fallen into. When they moved to stare into the water they were shocked to see that their appearance had changed. Their body was like a nebula, with pulsating stars speckled all across them. Their wings shone and shimmered and their body had pulsating lines like smoke all over. The white of their eyes was now black, and the iris sat glowing in the middle.

The young dragon gazed up at the sky with excitement and wonder. The cosmos had heard them and now they were a part of the cosmos. With new founded energy the young dragon sped off into the night, using the stars as guideposts to find their way home swiftly. Their clan was in awe of the transformation and.....continue this later.
