Karil stands before her throne, one hand resting on the translucent carved ice of its armrest, the other hanging loose at her side. Her gaze is unflinching, cold, and it pierces like a thousand needling icicles should someone displease her - though only figuratively. She conjures a razor-sharp rapier of ice should she need to cut in a more literal sense. Despite the rumors, such an occurrence is rare. She is remote, and she is stern, but only because she recognizes the harshness of her Court, and knows little good comes of coddling anyone into believing otherwise. Most of her fey are solitary creatures like herself, well-suited to long wanderings away from her Court. Still, there is always a place for the winter fey at her side, tucked in the ruff of her thick fur coat or resting in the everlasting crystalline ice caves where she holds her Court. Cold she may be; uncaring she is not. |
