Mayder
In the middle of the continent lies the Caldera, a massive lake. While most of the islands belong to the Fei Kingdom there's one, a very small one, that's home to powerful being.

Mayder is known as the fairy of the lake. Perhaps she was a regular dragon who gained power or she's a minor deity. Either way she's lived a long life and was the main reason the lake resisted the Necroblossom empire, thus protecting the entire southern half of Echatae. Lately the evil has broken through her defences. This caused Mayder to throw away her isolationist nature and join the Fei Kingdom proper, something that's going to be an adjustment both for her and the citizens.

Mayder is a friendly but reclusive dragon who dislikes noisy people. Being a minor deity she sees herself as important. Still the modernity of the Fei Kingdom fascinates and she considers adopting some of their culture. The dragon herself is a powerful user of water and purification spells so she helps the healers of the kingdom.
