Eldritcheth desperately wished to see her mother's lands.
More than anything in the entire world.
Her mother told her how she had been sent as envoy to welcome Xanthus into Sornieth, when he had first arrived here from faraway countries gripped in the throes of tribal wars.
Since then the clan had grown and prospered into a venerable lair, one that revered the characters bards spoke of from the Lorebooks and remembered them well.
Dragons from all over Sornieth slowly arrived and stayed and babies were born. The clan of Xanthus was born. Borne by dragons whose allegiance lay not only to a single deity but in the works of all of them, to acts that created a higher level of beingness across Sornieth overall.
She didn't know how she could bear to leave her home in the Sunbeam Ruins, all she knew was that her eyes, claws and wings yearned to know the lands, their air currents and the dragons they were descended from.
She only had her mothers stories, and the sound in Blacketh's voice as she told them spoke deeply into Eldritcheth's soul, like a seed of yearning being planted, as it grew it tore her heart out and drew it with it as it grew towards its homeland. The only way to relieve the feeling seemed to be to move with it so the pressure would ease.

She met Heath, he wanted to go with her so off they went.
It was there they learnt they were related. Heath was her father Magnifico's grandson. Heath's father Glory, the clan's champion of the Kelp Beds, had hatched a nest with Magnifico's daughter before she left to serve the Lightweaver and Eldritcheth had never known, she had been so captivated by her mother's stories.
And so she escorted her half-nephew to and from the Earthen lands, or he escorted her... they escorted each other. It was a quick trip and it only served to whet her appetite for another journey.

Her travels had availed her of knowledge of the ways of the world, and she went to train with her mother in the coliseum. Her mother was a strong warrior of the clan and she had taught her the worth of being able to defend oneself. Not only in the event of needing those skills in an emergency but for the confidence it would bring her in not escalating events TO that point by acting (or re-acting) out of fear.

Finally Eldritcheth was torn no longer - she got her wish to return to Dragonhome AND remain with her clan - the entire clan moved there!
