▸ Totally a daydreamer

▸ Sleep is chaotic. Can be up very late without problem, or get up insanely early for the pleasure to see the sun set.

▸ Can't sleep without a light on.

▸ Rather clumsy : half of his stained glass lanterns are made of broken other lanterns

▸ Can often be seen talking to inanimate objects

▸ Sometimes is unable to properly slide out of the dream realm and these days, he's acting a bit strange because of all the fantasy things he sees without noticing he's the only one

▸ Is actually a very skilled summoner, but only of things coming for the dream realm. He is cautious with the balance of the world though, and even if he enjoys a lot doing itn he will perform this art only for close friends

▸ Thinks he could actually take someone with him in the dream realm but this would mean sharing something so personnal to him with someone else than he never spoke about it.

▸ Height : Eliel is a small and light Imperial with rather large wings for his body.

▸ Named after a tabletop rpg character because of his ivory constellation : Eliel is the elf name of Savonax and this dragon looks like what a fandragon of the "still high elf Eliel" would have been

EYES IN THE STARS

Young Eliel came to the clan one starry night. The night guards found him wandering around, in awe with the clan's natural enclave. He was young, just grown up enough to be able to fly by himself. He was quiet, friendly and curious, but we had no idea where he came from. The only thing we managed to understand was that he followed a path made of shimmering stardust until he arrived in our clan – but he was quite unable to tell if it was a real magical event or if he just looked too much at the Milky Way... We allowed him to stay and took care of him. A few days passed, and we discovered a calm, curious and smart young Imperial, with what we understood to be a natural gift for oniromancy – the magic of dreams. It appeared that Eliel was able to walk the Oniria, the dream realm, a kind of magic our clan didn't have any user yet. He also proved himself gifted in light magic, especially when it came to guiding one's path or lighting an area. But he didn't seem to be willing to leave at all – and talking about his past seemed to bring back hurting feelings and memories.

After a while, he trusted us enough to reveal his secret : he had actually been bought by a pair of terrorist dragons from his parents when he was still a hatchling. He says he doesn't remember why, but that he's not willing at all to find them now he's an adult. During a few years, he had to take part into his owners' plans, finding his only confort in his dream walking abilities and by crafting lanterns lit by light spirits from that dream real only he could see. Eventually, they poisoned him on purpose to be allowed to enter an ennemy clan to attack them from the inside. In the havoc that the attack caused, Eliel managed to escape and fled. At that time, he was half living in the dream realm and it seems that he was unconsciously hiding the harshness of the reality to himself by altering his perception of the world and sliding a lot into the dream realm. That's why he appeared so lost when he came to us, and probably why he's such a sweet, calm and loving dragon even with the horrors he had to face in his childhood. Knowing that, we wholeheartedly welcomed him in the clan and the Mage College.

Eliel is now our lamplighter and lantern crafter. He had a great time studying magic at the Mage College and proved to be a dedicated and passionate student. At the end of his studies, he decided he would rather do a maguscrafting job, to use his artistic skill and to be helpful to people. That's why he tried to make the task of lighting the whole clan his own. And he did great ! Eliel is truely an artist and knows how to reveal the beauty of both nature and dragoncraft with the simplest of crafts. He works a lot on new lanterns and candles prresentation, and we owe him the eerie and magical atmosphere of the clan, both night and day, perfectly fitting the aura of harmony pulsing throught the enclave. He's also still part of the Mage College as our official Oniromancer and is proud to practise magic there and to helps the students and the others scholars. One of his favorite arts is stain glass and he loves to play with colors : he's often creating new patterns of stained glass and new colours of magic light and luminous liquid. Eliel is perfectly happy and is a dear fellow to many of the clan members.

The light lesser spirit friends he made while walking the dreams are still to his side, and he even bonded with a greater spirit of the Guiding Lights, Cannwyll, hosted in one of his lanterns or candles he carries with him. The spirit can chose by themself what host object they prefer – they seem to have taken a liking in old candelabra.

▸ Friends: Eliel is a very friendly dragon. He gets along vey well with Reveyl, whom he helps in her investigations. He also is a good friend of Cadrance : they both find the other's activity and personnality very inspiring. As he became of close friend to Callum, he began to take part in the tabletop rpg parties, but usually as a Game Master's assistant. As a dreamwalker, he knows Caliban's secret and would like to spend time with him, but he's unsure of how he should talk about it with him.

▸ Master/pupil: As the official dream mage of the clan, Jorhi asked his help to be able to master oniromancy to save the dragon in her dreams. It's much more a relationship of help between two students than a master/pupil relationship.

▸ Works with: Galaxys crafts him a lot of wax and candles, they really enjoying working with each other. He also works with Callum to improve the artistic lighting of the clan.

ELIEL'S HALLOWEEN HARVEST VISITS

Glowing, sparkling, floating lanterns bounce in the air,
Under the dark starry sky of this wondrous night
Leaving behind a trail of shimmering sparks, stars young and fair
Miniature galaxy like a path of light

The light inside flickers joyfully as the lanterns enjoy their travel
Solemnly and slowly floating along the road in awe and wonder
For the oniromancer, the veil of the dreams realm seems to chuckle
And the twinkling music that stars chant to themselves seems to be heard

As the little lanterns stop at the end of the path
Misty cloth gently unfurls and wraps the thin paper
A dim, smooth and warm gleam glows brighter
Huge wings of evanescent gold unfold
A coat of nightsky under an elegant disguise
Scales and mane sprinkled with glowing stardust
And eyes speaking of the wonders of the adventure

The Imperial that was just a second ago a bunch of thin, fragile lanterns,
Candles and lanterns floating around him like summoned servant spirits from the realm of dreams,
Looks around in wonder, smiles with an ingenuous grin, and bows with respect in front of his host
