Bakash, the swift night hunter with a lost lover

Bakash was born in a wandering plague clan populated by mirrors and nocturnes. She was taught hunting from a young age, like all the other hatchlings in her clan, and was good at it. As a lot of young dragons do, the purple nocturne went travelling with a few of her friends once they were old enough, and it was then that she visited Avignon for the first time.

She fell for a dark-coloured pearlcatcher at the tavern and was quickly head-over-heels. Even after Bakash left, the two kept in contact through letters and packages. It wasn't long before she returned to Avignon to join him.

The two were deeply in love and were both hunters. Sedentary life was difficult for Bakash, who had been a roaming dragon her whole life, but she worked through it with her mate. It was only a year or so after making a life together that her mate fell in battle against a particularly large bear.

Bakash was devastated and considered moving back to her clan in plague, but she liked being around the other dragons she had become friends with. Soon, she fell in love with Larissa when he moved to the town.

Moving on so quickly angered her former mate's brother, Adrastos, and the relationship between the two is very tense.
