Antonella, a painter with a fear of being abandoned.

Antonella was abandoned as a hatchling. She doesn't know if it was on purpose or on accident, but she woke up one day to find her clan gone and only the expanse of the plains expanding in every direction. She wandered for quite a while before reaching the border of wind and plague territory, where she was picked up by a travelling clan of plague dragons.

Antonella was as soft inside as she was on the outside, and she didn't fit in well with the rough-and-tumble plague dragons. She loved travelling, but when she tried to settle down and craft or cook, her clanmates often ruined her work, not understanding the value in making a painting or basket.

She was valued in the clan for her wind magic, which allowed her to sense oncoming weather so she could advise when they needed to find shelter for a day or two or when the sun would be out for a good hunting day.

When she eventually ran away, she was chased for a long time. She met Larissa along the way and they settled in Avignon together.
