Firris is not a major healer or a doctor in Fungal Fauna. Instead, he has been trained to be the first at the scene of any medical emergency. He may not know anything extensive, but he is trained to keep someone alive until professionals can arrive. His jacket is specifically made to deliver shocks in an attempt to revive those who have lost their pulse, and he carries an assortment of herbs that ease some common symptoms. He is a trained herbalist when not responding to trouble, recommending and handing them out to those who may need them.

Firris himself is a quiet and serious dragon. Socializing is something he's not the best at due to his native Coatl language, and he's always concerned when talking to Faes. As such, he does his best to let his actions speak for him. He's also not one to get violent, even with the formal training given to him by the clan. However, if his hand is forced, he is very quick when it comes to disabling others, both through physical and magical means.

Firris' past, like most that wander into Fungal Fauna, is a mystery. He is urged to only talk about it if he feels like, and as such, only bits and pieces of his past have emerged since he decided to stay. While he had a loving family, he had planned to journey to the Sunbeam Ruins to learn medical techniques, both new and old. After seeing the care the clan gave him despite being an utter stranger to them changed his mind, and now he serves his current role, as well as being taught by others in the clan.

Firris and EXE have issues seeing eye-to-eye. While they share no violence with each other, EXE has never been fond of those that use plants to solve medical issues. No amount of reasoning with the Pearlcatcher from Firris has been able to sway this opinion, instead leaving the two not wanting to be around each other.
