>used to be a bounty hunter to support his sister and himself until one big mistake in which he almost died
>his last pursuit was that of a formidable assassin
>he underestimated the skills of the assassin who shot him with three arrows and then overthrew him off of his mount, which made Heru fall on his head, instantly knocking him unconscious
>he was in such a bad shape and was bleeding out profusely, still completely unconscious
>the assassin just decided to dump him in the bush, convinced he was dead, and then just left in a hurry with his mount
>however, to Heru's luck, an old lady with a cart passed by on the same road, and her oxen noticed something was off which made them stop, after which she found him in the bush
>she dragged him to the cart and took him home to try and heal him, which she did
>he still suffered severe trauma to his head, particularly his face, which left his right cheek and lips scarred
>he also now has a perpetual limp
>had to find a more suitable profession afterwards which eventually led him to keeping falcons
>his primary income is from growing plants such as coffee or plants for tea
