personality Etteilla is charismatic and mysterious. She is tantalizing and captivating. Her whole personality is like sickly sweet molasses. She is delicious and enticing. One taste and no one can get enough of her. She is incredibly charming as well. Every one of her customers feels special and loved and paid attention to. They keep going back for more simply for how enchanting Etteilla is. Despite her warm personality, physically, she is cold. Etteilla's bare scales are cold to the touch and she radiates frigid temperatures. Due to that, she is also highly resistant to arctic conditions, not that she sees that a lot in the city. backstory Etteilla's lineage is interesting to say the least. Her great grandparents are ancient celestial beings who crawled out of the ice during a lunar eclipse. Her grandparents deal frequently with death in the form of being grave diggers. Naturally, it made sense that Etteilla would also be slightly odd. Etteilla was part of a clutch of three. She had two sisters who were both better than her at magic. They could breathe ice and froze dragons who touched them. Etteilla was just kinda cold and could do simple sleight of hand tricks with magic. She was nothing impressive, but she was determined to stand out from her brilliant sisters. She left home and began honing her spiritual side. She developed the ability to talk to spirits and she used that to tell fortunes and use tarot cards. She finally stood out from her sisters, she was finally something special. But then both her sisters went missing. They left home and fell off the grid. Etteilla did all she could to find them, but she couldn't. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't. The one thing Etteilla used to stand out couldn't help her find them. She kept working as a fortuneteller to hone her skills and kept talking to the spirits to find her missing sisters. job Etteilla is a tarot card reader and fortuneteller in Nightmare Bazaar. She doesn't have a store front, but rather, a stall. The stall is small, with thick velvet curtains on the front. The place where normal merchants would store goods, holds a sitting room of sorts. A low table with a crystal ball and a lace purple cloth sit in the middle. Pillows of all sizes and colors sit on one side while a deep purple and white pillow sits on the far side. Etteilla is legit in her practices. She is a very spiritual dragon and as such, is the most notable fortuneteller around. She uses small magic tricks to make her practice more enticing. |
