She's an alchemist, she's very diligent. Both her parents are literate and also teach, the father Herbology and how to apply any kind of natural medicine. While her mother is a Surgeon, a doctor and quietly researches the supernatural, necromancy and arcane magic. They take turns teaching her all sort of stuff while they are off their jobs and researches. Her mother is particularly strict. That is why her brothers left. They didn't really want to put up with their mother's strict rules.
She's very curious so studying and reading are one of her favorite hobbies. But what she love most is to experiment with chemistry and alchemy. Hecate is very capable and bright, her talent and dedication shows clearly when she puts her mind into her work. Otherwise she can be pretty forgetful, that's how she messed her experiments up and blows up her small laboratory.
She spends hours in her small and cramped laboratory filled with books, herbs, weird severed animal parts, odd objects, glowy vials and bottles. researching and playing with reactions.
Once in a while you hear a loud boom, steam and smoke flowing trough the cracks of the windows and door... then you slowly see her figure exit the doorstep with her face full of ash and some weird substance all over her head. She goes to clean herself, takes a broom and returns inside.

Over the time she grew accostumed and you could almost say became fast friend with Deathclaw, the mute Wildclaw scavenger. She loves whenever she brings her weird knick knacks. The usually secretive and elusive Hecate is always there whenever Deathclaw returns from one of her travels. Sometimes she even asks the Wildclaw to bring certain objects if she can or knows where to find them.
Deathclaw obviously is very fond of her weird shy friend and loves to share her treasure with her whenever she wants.
Thanks to her befriending the Wildclaw she also managed to convince her to let her father and mother help out Lili. Wich usually was the only one Deathclaw would let near. Lili is obviously grateful for she has a lot to work on her shoulder, being the clan doctor.
Hecate's awkward behavior towards others is rooted from the fact that she has always been keeping herself locked away in her room to study and research.
