Ragl is the son of Hadalyi and Tashir, a pairing that nobody expected to come together. While his parents and older half-brother, Guel, have opted to remain in Clan Agnidoom, Ragl decided to move to Clan Schtalikh. He chose to do this because he felt that it would be easier for him to "discover himself" and find his own place in life rather than conform to the expectations of family and the people who know them. It doesn't help that Ragl looks almost exactly like his mother, which is not a good first impression to make in most contexts.

He certainly has some opinions on his family, but he still loves them.

Despite his foreboding appearance, Ragl is actually quite nice, albeit he's shy and comes across as laconic.

Kind of goth.
