Loonornool prefers to go by 'Lorn'; in fact, most dragons don't realize that 'Lorn' isn't her real name and most never will unless it is somehow brought up. The most common reason why it is is when Duvich calls her 'Loony-loon' or 'Nooly-nool,' but she rarely calls Lorn these outside of a private setting.

Lorn is Duvich's mate and is friends with Chrysanthi and Illyn; they're some of the few dragons in the clan who know her real name.

While she doesn't officially have a job, that doesn't mean that Lorn isn't busy. Lorn's philosophy is that just because life can be hard doesn't mean that it should be. She's a philanthropist does a lot of volunteer work to make sure that others have not just the basic necessities for life and dignity, but means of enjoyment and aesthetic worth also.

Technically Lorn is a divine being (some kind of celestial messenger or something) that was unwittingly turned into a dragon by Duvich's out-of-control magic; nobody, not even Lorn or Duvich, knows of this. Duvich's magic is so complete that it made Lorn think she's always been a dragon and has even given her a background, warping reality itself to authenticate it.

Lorn is living in Clan Schtalikh out of a desire to see the little clan flourish. Despite the fact that Clan Agnidoom isn't far, and that she goes there at least a few times a week, Lorn still sends lovelorn letters to Duvich every day since the latter remains residing in Clan Agnidoom. (Duvich receives them with exasperated love.)
