Biography
Tjikko
The Deity of Dreams
Deity of sleep, dreams, and nightmares. Wanders through the forest in a form that looks corporeal, but only just; appears to be sleepwalking or in a daze, and it is very rare for him to even acknowledge the presence of others. Leaves a trail of glimmering dust in his wake that has a calming effect in small doses, but in large quantities can put a dragon to sleep for days. Overall benign and never intentionally malicious, but dragons who get too close to him can be led astray as if in a trance, waking up miles from where they started with memories of strange dreams but no recollection of how they got there and with no way to know how much of the night's events were true and how many were figments of their imagination. For those who manage to touch him, the effects are as unpredictable as dreams themselves. Some find themselves living out wonderful dreams for what feels like days or even years; others have extremely vivid nightmares and wake up far from home with wounds they cannot explain; some simply fall into a coma. These effects usually only last about a day or two, but dragons have gone missing in the woods; their fate is uncertain, but some old stories tell of dragons who spent months, even years, wandering the forest in a dream state, and others who have been asleep for so long that the moss has covered their bodies and they have become part of the forest itself.
