History The edge of the domain of Thunder-Arrow lies shrouded in an impenetrable blizzard. No drake dares to roam beyond the frostbitten wind and suffocating cold. At the helm of this endless storm guards the mystical Azari. Her power emanates from an unseen source, the like of which has leveled landscapes and lairs alike. Her laughter summons hail and whirlwinds of snow. Her presence in this clan was felt immediately, but at a cost. Her mind was wrapped in joy that blinded her from realizing the immensity of her power. Thunder-Arrow nearly crumbled beneath her storm, freezing everyone in a time capsule of ice; everyone except for Apollo. It was possible his own mystical aura, the strongest in the clan, made him immune to Azari’s strange spells. However, Apollo could not let this destruction continue, and cast his own negation spell to free his family and friends. All the energies of the cosmos came to his aid, as Apollo summoned the entirety of his strength. Time carried on. A fortnight passed before the spell freed everyone, but Azari’s joyful soiree continued. At the time, she was nameless as she swirled around the clan. It wasn’t until the Ice rep/Queen Frostcall approached the imperial was the powerful dragoness bestowed her name. Frostcall listened, decrypting the sacred words spoken by Azari as she continued to churn her blight of a blizzard. She was singing…. A song so soft carried on the wind; and Frostcall’s heart sank. It was a lullaby…a dangerous one. The saturated arcane earth started refreezing, and the bitter cold returned. Hail pelted the landscape outside the lair. In a haze of shuriken-like snow, Azari matured into an adult before their eyes, her power tripling in an instant. Apollo and Frostcall unified their auras, and aimed their spells towards the skies. Energies collided above the clan, unifying the spirits of arcane and ice. The barrier was complete, and Azari was exiled to the far reaches of the House of Winterbite. She continues to sing her lullaby of frost… |
