"sometimes darkness can show you the light"

Coral was like most other Guardian dragons,she hatched to loving parents who taught her about the Guardian culture and what she was expected to do with her long life. as a hatchling she was a curious individual,always asking why and when and how things happened. her curiosity sometimes got her into trouble,but Coral also had a love for games and tricks,traits of one following the shadow alignment.

When she matured she had to leave her Clan for reasons she did not understand at the time. it was heart breaking,feeling her instincts pull her away from all she knew. she must find her purpose. the Guardian's Search brought her far away from home,criss crossing over miles and miles of land she knew she could not stay in. years passed like this.

One day,mentally exhausted, Coral knew where she must go. the Shadowbinder's domain. she always had a strange fear of the place she did not understand. but now one thing was as clear as the night sky to her; she must join the Shadow alignment and find this thing weather it be a dragon,a place,or an event she did not care.

The end of her long Search brought her to Driftwater Drags,where a Mirror dragon named Everdark was trying to create a new Clan. she secretly smiled to herself with relief and joy. her charge was NightClan. Coral found Everdark fascinating. she had never met a Mirror dragon before,the way he did so little with words and used actions to speak for him was alien compared to the way the young Guardian behaved.

The arrival of a lone hatchling surprised her,but she and Everdark looked after it and continued incubating the eggs,naming the young one Starsmoke

NightClan grew with the arrival of two adults,a mysterious Imperial and his Pearlcatcher companion. strangely, a Fae hatchling was also with them. they got along well and each found their roles within the clan. there was a tangible excitement the day before the eggs hatched

Two Guardians hatched. one male,one female. sadly,the male caught a life threatening disease and had to be given to another clan for special treatment. when he came back,he was no longer bonded to his parents or his sister and refused to join NightClan. he was transferred to another clan,much to the dismay of Coral and Everdark. yet they still had one healthy hatchling,whom they named Watermelon due to her strange liking of fruit.

this brings us to the present.........
