Orion

Orion came from a very wealth family. Her parents lived a very lavish lifestyle, throwing parties every night, dressing in expensive silks and dining on the most exquisite foods. However, they weren't the smartest of dragons. When Orion was a hatchling, her mother got her mixed up with her siblings and gave her a boy's name, something she has always been teased about. Ori has never been bothered by this though. Even at a young age, she was different from her family, valuing knowledge over fancy cloths, gold or jewels. And she was motivated to learn more about the world around her. Eventually, when she was old enough, she left her home, to travel with her best friend Trill and see more of the world.

Orion first met Trill when the where both still very young, and Ori's family was passing through nearby forest on their way back from a grand party. The forest also happened to be home to Trill's family. A sudden severe thunder storm sprung up, and Orion's parents didn't want to get all wet flying through such harsh rains, so Trill's father offered that they stay with them until the snow cleared up. Ori and Trill didn't get along at first, and they ended up getting into a fight when Trill called her 'a snotty brat,' and Ori replied by slapping her in the face. After that, Ori earned Trills respect, and they bonded over their shared curiosity about the world and their interest in exploring. When the storm finally cleared, Ori returned home, but they kept hanging out, and now they are best friends.
