Biography
As a dragonet, Kalypso was found wandering alone in the Sunbeam Ruins by Sarkis, a pearlcatcher with no children of his own and no plans at having a mate. The tiny maize-and-ivory dragon melted his heart, and Sarkis adopted Kalypso. Kalypso was a handful; she often utilized her talent for turning invisible for evil. She would frequently steal things from the other dragonets, and even the dragons of the clan. Whether that was a favorite toy, or a tasty snack, something would suddenly vanish, and the only clue to its departure would be the high teakettle-like whistle of Kalypso's laugh as she scampered away.
But as time went on, Sarkis taught Kalypso to temper this natural instinct for mischief. As an adult, she learned to channel her desire for chaos and excitement into battle. Her ability to become invisible meant she fast became one of the clan's best hunters and warriors, and she helped her fellow warriors to provide for the well-being of the clan as a whole. Her familiar, Makov, had been with her since her childhood, and viewed this change in her personality with no small amount of skepticism, but with an equal amount of relief.
All was not sunbeams in the ruins, however. Sarkis uncovered a plan to use Kalypso's invisibility to kill dragonets and eggs from neighboring clans. They ran, but not without injury. Kalypso had to carry her unconscious father-figure's bleeding body as they fled, frantically, to the shores of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Just as Sarkis had saved Kalypso when she was a baby, it was her turn now to save him, and she did just that by finding a healer who could save his life. Makov helped, winging along beside her and using his superior night vision to search for what they needed

With all the work Kalypso has put in to create a family of the spirit here in the Crystalspine Reaches, it would seem at times that all her mischief has vanished into battle tactics and nasty traps against Beastclan warriors. Little would seem to remain of the thieving dragonet Sarkis brought in from the Ruins.
Even so, sometimes something will still occasionally go missing from Sarkis's den. He knows he only has to look in Kalypso's to find it again.
