Taking credit for the work of Gem Froststar on the Weather Engine led to his appointment as Chief Engineer... but her sister and the terrifying Lord Breaker were not as foolish and quickly spirited her away. He deeply regrets letting her escape his control.

A travesty beyond measure. The wealth of the Ectri could pay for any number of lab assistants, but the 'lords' appointed by the Crown held sway over his very right to use the land. The smile had dropped from his face and so he plastered it back on, patting the furred back of the student. "Are you ready to see what the Font can do?"
