 Gem Froststar Inventor - Shriekwind Pass Bubbly, scientifically inclined and prone to speaking her mind even when it isn't exactly polite. Deferential to her older twin, but often flies off on flights of fancy. Carries around a bag full of scrolls she has scrawled her wild designs upon. During her time with Templan Novo he consistently 'borrowed' from her ideas and the success of the Telvan'ectri Generator can be credited to one conductor that she designed at breakfast. Gem realized - where Treasure did not - that they were less 'assistants' to his work and more resources for him to drain, and it was her who encouraged her sister to accept the Lord of Ice's offer of patronage. |

 Gems of a Feather  Gem grunted around the calibrator between her teeth as she shoved a metal plate back down on her Sphere. Holding it tight, she freed a claw and pulled the tool from her mouth. "Alright, so, just adjust this here-" WUMP! The air suddenly sucked inwards, yanking her forward into the metal and nearly crushing the calibrator. An angry hum filled the room. "Success!" The spiral cried, prying herself free. But it wasn't quite success. There was no glow, and an ominous rattle was just audible over the noise. "Oh." She had just enough time to press a red button on her work pillar and wrap herself around it as the carved obsidian dome dropped down. VABOOOOOOOM! The Younger Tower shook as the Sphere imploded and nearly any loose object lost its home. Her gown whipped around her in the shockwave that not even the dome could contain... the null shockwave was worse. It rushed inwards, shattering anything which had withstood the blast. Even the obsidian dome - carved with the purest earth magics to be the finest containment - cracked under the strain. Then as suddenly as it had began the storm was over. Within the dome Gem could see the damage. The Sphere was crumpled, melted into not only the stone table but all through the blistered granite below. She cursed. Another curse came from behind her. Treasure was standing in the doorway, half of a book in her claws. It had been poorly bound initially so it rained pages. The devastated fear in her eyes gave way to relieved exhaustion and the skydancer leaned against the wall.    WIP |
