Bellum is one of Sabaneta’s many collected oddities, but they found their way into the fold in a quite unusual way. They had been captured, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, though that is not how Bellum sees it. So the Children did what they’ve always done, and took her away. That is to say, Bellum let them take them. They were stashed in a Rotcell like any other prisoner. Eventually they were released as part of tharCee’nUlok, the Children’s cruel game centering about hunting down and killing prisoners for sport. Bellum was smart about, and did not leave their cell immediately. Also instead of going directly for one of the two exits out of the Bone Chambers, Bellum decided to squeeze between magic and barbed wire so they could wriggle out of the circular opening in the Chambers’ roof. Which helped throw of the Children since as a mirror Bellum was not expected to fly, but also because no one had ever successfully gotten past the shielding before. From then on they tricked, evaded and played with them for two days before they won the game and crossed the Flymouth’s border. Then they asked to join them, stating they did not had nowhere else to go. Sabaneta made Bellum one of her hands, recognizing immediately the strange gift of the mirror. They were the first beside the Wraiths that Sabaneta gave the title. Bellum remains an undefeated champion of combat, having taken the title from Odi using their wit, managing to turn the Wraith’s greatest gift against him. Being buried alive and continuously suffocated would tire even the most resilient immortal out, luckily Dolor intervened before Odi completely lost control. Not even Bellum would have been able to outsmart the sheer power of an ****** off Whisperer. Odi hasn’t forgiven them for that one, and when the time comes he has sworn to rip them into pretty red ribbons. Also their gift would certainly work against them if they were to go up against Odi when he is completely out of control. Bellum is clever in a militaristic sort of way. It takes them little time to figure out enemy fighting styles and tactics, and how to counter them. Strategy comes easily to them, but it’s not something you would notice unless you asked. They may seem reckless, but they really aren’t. Their supposed cockiness makes them seem stupid and inexperienced, which in turn has a tendency to make their opponents drop their guard. The mirror has chilly aura of violence surrounding them, and the smell of blood and decay clings to their hide. When a fight breaks out they are never far away, their mere presence seems to make the creatures around them boil with rage. Bellum is also prone to helping fights start, rather than stop them. It’s like they has a sixth sense leading them to violence. They has a cruel sense of humor, and is not above harming others for their own amusement, your pain is nothing but a joke to them. The greatest form of entertainment, they could not care less about other living beings. All they want is blood, fear and war. They and Odi are often kept as far from each other as possible, because Bellum loves to rile him up, loves to make him angry. There is no fear for their own safety, despite the Wraith’s attempts to kill them. It’s not only Odi they will try to manipulate to violence, but with him it’s the least subtle, and the most fun. Of course when in the presence of the Handler, or on a job, they will have to control herself. And if they don’t, the Handler sure as Shade will. |

ABILITIES: - Warmonger: Seems to be able to sow violence into the air, making those around her wish for conflict, bleeding violence. She can twist the smallest irritation to conflict, and turn the most peaceful meeting to a fight. Having her anywhere near Odi is a spectacularly bad idea. |
