As decided by her father, Alethea, along with her siblings, would be sent out of the clan in order to get Steeo's family bloodline back into high society. Though her mother fears for her safety, her father refuses to budge on the decision. This is the best he could want for his children, and he will personally chase them out to reach that goal if he has to. His hopes for her ending up as a noble may or may not occur, as life is fickle in that regard.  Ever since she was little, Alethea's father has always drilled nobility into her head. She was allowed to play with the other dragons of her birth tribe, but her father has made sure to tell all of his children that the three of them were different- much above those primitives. While Alethea thought that was a mean thing to say, she now accepts that there are some dragons more important than others. And of course, with her father's training, she knows exactly how to pick out the highest ranking dragons of society to associate with. Though she is, like her brother and sister, educated in all aspects of aristocracy, Alethea is most adept in dealing with the social aspects of royal life. This would make her a soft-spoken, yet formidable addition to any court. Despite the harshness of being thrown out of her clan, the best her father could do for her was sending her with her very own knight. The fate of the unhatched dragons in her clan were unfortunately predetermined among the noble-families. A young nocturne named Pyrrha was assigned to protect Alethea. Like many others of her kind, Pyrrha was trained to dedicate herself to her purpose, being the dragon she must protect. And so, once Alethea was of age, she and Pyrrha were banished to the outskirts the Ashfall Waste. Alethea and Pyrrha had spent days making their way through the Carrion Canyon. Unfortunately, this journey was dangerous for dragons of such small size. Pyrrha trailed along silently between the large rocks and boulders of the canyon. Despite the danger of it all, her small size did make it easier to hide them from enemies. Soon, Alethea's soft voice ran out. W I P |
