Born under the Super Blood Wolf Moon during the peak of the total lunar eclipse
Dear Harana,
If you're reading this, then I'm probably already gone. And I want to say: I'm sorry.
I know you thought things were getting better. You believed in us, in our relationship. But I want you to understand. I ran away for the clan. For you. Not because you did anything wrong, not because of anything anyone in the clan has said, but because of the nightmares I have been having.
My mother and father... came from somewhere beyond this realm, you might know. Ever since I was young, I've had dreams of them. Not nightmares, but dreams. Of them coddling me and treating me well, of a small crib, a lavish royal palace adorned in dark blues and blacks, and a large, beautiful kingdom. My parents were the rulers, and I was their princess. But... as I grew up, my dreams changed. Some type of madness awoke in them. They began to pillage towns with innocent people, killed and murdered others in cold blood. As I grew up, got to know and understand what my place was here and the patterns of my dreams, I realized that those weren't just dreams. They were visions of my past. I was sent here by my family's servants for the sake of my own protection.
Recently, I had a nightmare. A horrific nightmare. Of a darkness eclipsing Sornieth and our clan, and the sound of my parents' evil laughter.
It was then that I realized that I couldn't stay.
If the progression of my dreams are correct... then my parents found me. And they want me dead.
I can't afford to have the clan destroyed because of this. So after thinking about it for some time, I've decided to leave. To find a way to kill them and prevent them from wrecking havoc. I've found a way to contact the servants who sent me here. As a matter of fact, they're next to me, right now, as I'm writing this.
I know that even after reading this, you'll still have questions. Where will you go? What are you going to do when they're dead? Will you ever come back? The answer to the first question is easy. I will ascend back up to the upper realms and train harder than ever for the battle against my parents. As for the others?... I can't answer that. I'm not sure if I'll live after the battle, or if I'll even survive a hit from them. But I still have to try.
If possible... could you also tell Hilde for me? You and Hilde are my bestest friends, and I will not forget either of you. The two of you molded me into the strong person I am now. I wouldn't have been able to survive any of the challenges I faced if neither of you were around. Tell her not to cry; she's a terrible crier. Encourage her to go out and meet others, that she'll be the best pirate to ever set sail, and that her songs are beautiful.
Tell King Polaris and Queen Cynosura and the others... that I said thank you and that I will miss them dearly. They never gave up on me. I've been told that the reason why I never went insane like my parents was because they had faith in me, in spite of the things I've done. Their lessons were invaluable and I will carry them with me when I ascend to the upper realms.
There is a chance that I may never return home. But... know this. No matter how far apart we are, my connection with you will always be strong. I still love you, and I always will. Maybe, if what you say about the universe is true, perhaps, someday, in another life, we will meet again, and we could have the life we always dreamed of having.
Until then, could you promise something for me? Please, be happy. Live life to the fullest. Fall in love, hard. When you meet someone new, tell them you love them. Cherish them, hold them tight, like what you did for me. Promise them the sun and the stars, and take them to the moon. Treat them the same way you treated me. I'll be watching you from the upper realms, with a smile.
I wish I could stay with you. But my parents almost destroyed their entire kingdom. I can't let them touch Sornieth. It's my home. Our home. And I will fight for it to the death, with every bone in my body.
