Biography

Skyluck always says that his name almost always holds true: he is a very lucky dragon. He usually goes on to say how lucky he is to have so many good friends! And frankly, it's true. It is hard to hate this happy noodle, as he really just wants the best for everybody. Unfortunately, that really means everybody; Sky has a bad habit of bringing home all sorts of new friends, from shade-touched to Serthis.

Skyluck also one mean cook, he can make anything out of anything. Occasionally he will go on rambles, looking for a new kind of cuisine to bring home to the clan.

One of his best friends is his coworker Andes, who usually handles desserts, and he also quite likes Elychite. He also sometimes goes on walks with Mnemosyne and Eirian to look for mushrooms, although according to Eirian that usually ends up with Skyluck picking a mushroom, Mnemosyne telling him that it's poisonous, and Skyluck dropping it, rinse and repeat. By the end of the walk, Mnemosyne has gathered a bag of safe mushrooms for the Spiral to cook with.

Dear Diary,

Today as I was traveling, I came across a clan! One in the Windswept Plateau nonetheless... it sure is nice to be back where the breezes never falter. This clan is full of kind dragons, each working with the other to make sure the clan is stable and happy! I was greeted by an old Skydancer with trees sprouting from her shoulders and the wings of a bee who was quite gentle. With each word, I felt more and more at home there, and somehow, she knew my name before I had even told her! What a great guesser! She must have trusted me since she led me into the clan, where I was greeted by a warm breeze and the smell of flowers, in fact, there seemed to be a garden nearly everywhere I looked. The Skydancer, whose name I later learned was Sequoia, brought me to another Skydancer with blue butterfly wings who seemed rather nervous and unsure of himself. All around him butterflies fluttered and his eyes seemed to be of an insect... how interesting! He introduced himself to me and showed me around the area. His name was Charaxes, and among the other dragons I met, the names I remember were Wildfire, Belste, Kohinoor, and GlowWorm. I believe he had said GlowWorm was his grandfather, but I may be wrong for all I know. I'm just happy I got to meet so many new dragons today! And I can't wait to see how many more I meet as I stay here for the next few days.

Dear Diary,

Today I found myself drawn to the Imperial I mentioned earlier, Wildfire. Her golden armor was shimmering in the bright sunlight as her serious gaze traveled over many dragons in the Clan, looking back to me every once in a while with this look of distrust in her ocean blue eyes. I decided to approach her and talk to her so she would stop looking at me so funny all the time! She seemed very tense and I got the feeling she was looking for someone based on the way she continued to scan the crowds as we talked. Later on, I asked Charaxes why she was so tense, and I believe I brought up something I shouldn't have. He hesitated, but he did tell me in the end. She was keeping watch for two dragons, not just one. Two dragons named, Angelic and, Apatura. Apatura was Charaxes mother apparently, however, she had run off shortly after his hatching to escape the wrath of her mother, Charaxes' grandmother, Angelic, an Imperial who was unlucky enough to become tainted by the Shade. I couldn't help but shiver at those words. I feel terrible for bringing this tragedy up. I hope I can make it up somehow.

Dear Diary,

I've done it! I've figured out a way to set things right, and maybe spread a bit of cheer to this sorrowful clan. This morning, I got up early so I would have enough time, and started cooking! These dragons here have plentiful amounts of basic food items and ingredients, so I figured I'd use them to their full potential. By the afternoon, I had made plenty of treats for all of the dragons around, leading to a very happy lunchtime for everyone. Charaxes seemed to appreciate it, and even Wildfire eased up a bit! I'm glad I was able to help these poor souls out even just a little bit. Though this trip has been fun and these dragons have seemed to warm up to me, I don't wish to extend my welcome. I'm going to fly back home soon, much to the dismay of many of the younger dragons, who have never met anyone from outside the clan before. Don't worry little ones, I'll send letters if I get the chance! Who, knows, maybe I'll visit again someday...
