Many older or traditional Iron circle fellows feel affronted by Niobium's strange devices, but the lack of magic required to operate them and the minor advantage against the Silver Circle they may be result in a consensus that these artifices are under the domain of the iron circle.

Noobium is quartermaster only because he was a squire under the last quarrermaster, and he before the one before that, all the way back to the argent war. For some time, the distribution of weapons has been an intimate ceremonial process between Adept and Squire.
