___________________________________
"It's dark down here in the crypt." Saraga hisses just above a whisper. Her burnt translucent face appears in the darkness and a not quite right smile stretches across her face. "Nothing here is alive," she continues; her tail thrashing like a stalking cat's and her lithe muscles coiling as if preparing for something, "-not even you." It's the last thing you hear before she pounces. |

A daughter originating from the Blood Pack. These mercenaries travel the world searching for new hunting grounds, a good fight, and to further their reputations. They favor payment in the form of easily traded materials and treasures. These dragons also sometimes carry any war trophies they may acquire. They're also proud of any scars they earn through battle. The Blood Pack is named after the blood bonding ritual that marks their entrance into the clan, but also for their habit of leaving blood of their enemies to dry upon their hide. It's a practice that was born in the Abiding Boneyard, which is where the clan was born. The Blood Pack now wander through various lands looking for ever more trophies, scars, and glory.

Burial Guardian Subspecies wrote:
The role of a Burial Guardian is to attend to the recently deceased. The ancient darkness, The Shade, preys on fresh spirits (the elemental energy that comes from these dragons feeds them). This can create vengeful spirits, shade-touched dragons, or just new strands of the shade itself. A Burial Guardian's goal is to reach the spirit first and try to assist it before the shade can cause any form of permanent damage. Not all attempts are successful, naturally, but the more dragons they help the better. Some Burial Guardians are better at assisting with certain types of trauma than others, but they all share the same goals and concerns.
Burial Guardians were all once normal dragons who are now walking in their own form of purgatory. Just like the dragons they now help, they too struggled to pass on. Reasons vary from dragon to dragon, it's up to the owner to truly decide what caused the dragon's death. Were they murdered? Complications during childbirth? Died of a broken heart? No matter the cause, by becoming a Burial Guardian the dragon has shown they are either unable to pass on or simply have chosen to stay in purgatory.

- Died fighting as a daughter from the Blood Pack
- Death involved a fire trap - she got caught inside
- Became a Burial Guardian for a short time, but her lust for blood morphed and she became corrupted.
- Her corruption causes her to thirst for the death of innocent souls and to encourage The Shade to claim more victims.
- She's the quickest of the 3 Corrupted. Her attacks are light, but she hits her targets with deadly accuracy - causing her victim to die over a longer period of time due to her fighting style. She dances out of reach when any hero attempts to touch her with a tooth or claw.
