Azazel is older than many of her siblings, from a time when religions were based on blood much more than they are now. When the sacrifices were brought to the alter, she would come. It is that act that got her a bad reputation. Many assumed that she could only be summoned with blood, and would try to do so to no avail. Azazel would not come for the priests, who would commit murder in hopes of a reward, but she would come for the sacrifices themselves. She is rarely visible but to the sacrifices themselves, and take away their fear and pain in their last moments. It upsets her greatly that she cannot gift the priests with rain, luck, or good crops as they wish, as it only means that there will be more sacrifices until their luck changes.

As the world grew older, Azazel is being summoned less and less. It pleases her greatly, for it means that there are less needless deaths. She has a gentle soul, and it pains her whenever she is called away. One day, she hopes, that there will be no more need for her to be summoned. In the meantime, she spends time with the fledglings, and does her best to teach them compassion and kindness, no matter what their callings are.
