Biography
guess who has an adopted daughter now
Vycarc's first moments were a blur of dark reds and strange scents before she was alone. She had seen a group of dragons in front of her, with a skydancer giving orders before the adults left her in an unforgiving wasteland. It was one of their own that had saved her, a pearlcatcher with blues and greys covering her scales. She had been hidden in a sling designed to hold her pearl, and the dragon smuggling her would sneak her food, keeping her fed and warm as the group traveled, their new companion hidden from them. It was when a new face peered into the sling, a black and red face with eyes twinkling like dark rubies. Vycarc was pulled out of the sling and thrown into the air by her savior as the others descended on her, the pearl shattered on the hard ground nearby. The imperial looked in shock as the pearlcatcher was attacked by her friends, with the male skydancer watching the hatchling fly towards the glittering lands that lay before them. There she was found, half-starved and exhausted, by a kindly mirror with a scarred face and kind eyes. Her brothers had saved her, and she wouldn't let the skydancer harm her new home.
Tiberius had told her to stay nearby, that they were going to get the fish and that afterwards they'd go and talk to the Gaolers that wanted to come with us and explore near the lair. What she didn't know, was that the small scroll the Tundra they were trading with gave her would change her, morphing her from her Imperial body to an older, Gaoler body.
"She's too small, leave her. I didn't steal the egg for the hatchling to be a runt. Sicarius, keep tracking that mirror, we can not afford to lose more ground."
