A Storm Sylvan who is often mistaken for an Eldarian, Alycia was found by Edge and the crew of the Calnus while they were searching for Arumat. Faize instantly took to trying to help her when they discovered that she was suffering from one of the recently appeared blights, and even beyond that, she couldn't remember what she was doing on the world where Edge found her, or who had sent her there. Alycia was quickly accepted as a crew member aboard the Calnus and did her best to aid her newly found friends find their missing crewmate Arumat, despite the fact that the blight afflicting her continued to get steadily worse, making it very hard for her to do normal things. Faize remained at her side the entire time. Some time later, Faize was killed during the turmoil following the destruction of the planet Eldar and the enemies' vicious and relentless hunt after the surviving Eldarians and Alycia slipped deep into depression. In an attempt to keep her grief from killing her, Edge and the crew, after finally agreeing on a solution, sent Alycia to the Eldarian front lines, where she could aid them in protecting the civilians and combating the enemy firsthand. Alycia gladly went off, and during a critical mission alongside her Eldarian comrades, she suffered a fatal wound and died before the battle's end. To the relief of Edge and his crew, Faize and Alycia both were resurrected by unknown means and returned to their ship, and to this day Alycia believes that the great Star Ocean was the cause. Alycia is well versed in the fighting styles of several different races, and can switch between these techniques with ease, even in the heat of the battle. She is very interested in continuing to learn the battle styles and weapons of others. Now cured of her blight, Alycia seeks her true purpose.
