A member of Shin-Ra's SOLDIER division as well as Tora Crescent's little sister, so much had befallen her by the time the Crisis Core incidents repeated themselves that she lost her will to live. She was often experimented on, despite the constant interference of Genesis and his daughter, Vaze, leader of the Wings of Shadow. Tora was furious when she found out what was going on in her absence from Midgar, and she, Tiamat, Issoral, and Ilixia's descendant Lalear took Shin-Ra by storm, restoring Rufus to his rightful place as leader of Shin-Ra. Rufus and Tora both made sure that what was happening to Rikku was stopped and, despite Rikku's claims of "lack of experience", she was promoted to head of the SOLDIER Ghost division. She herself often participates in missions with her SOLDIER Ghost operatives and has developed a close, healthy relationship with many of her comrades. In an effort to help her boost her self-confidence, many of her SOLDIER Ghosts began playing Halo with her during downtime, which resulted in her taking strategies from their matches and helping her slowly become more confident, even in real life missions. Rikku is currently under shadow, trying to discover what the recent spike in the activity of their adversary- an organization known as the Silver Cobras- means.
