Facilier isn't the typical type of dragon that comes to the Raptor Clan. Normally the Clan gets warriors types. Facilier on the other hand is not. He is so charismatic most of the time he can get what he wants without having to do more than talk. When talking doesn't work he falls back onto lost magic, Voodoo. Only when Voodoo fails will he actually fight, which is exceedingly rare.

Because of the things that voodoo requires Facilier finds himself in odd areas of Sornieth. When asked about it Facilier comes up with a very obvious lie and when he's pressed on it he comes up with an even worse lie. He will never admit to being a bokor (witch doctor) simply because other dragons misunderstand voodoo. The odd items he's seen carrying around make no sense except to the other bokors who also go to the same areas as he does. It has earned him an eccentric reputation, which is perfectly okay with.

While voodoo doesn't require being secretive Faciler keeps it quiet.Part of it is he is just secretive by nature the other part is there have been more than a few times when it was misunderstood and it resulted in being attacked. It is far easier to keep it to himself, and others in the know, than explain everything. That isn't to say that he hide it from everyone and those interested are more than welcome to come to him to learn. If voodoo isn't what the dragon is looking for he will often send them to his mate, Ida.
