Past Life Former Emperor of Mount Ōe and patriarch of the Imperial Family, Shuten Doji is an old fellow who came from a parallel universe. His power is a legend among those in his world. Having fought in the great battle of The 1000 Nights — when he defeated his great enemy Minamoto no Yorimitsu and unified all clans under his banner, bringing peace to the former caotic Mount Oē — his name was, since then, spread as a synonym of peace and unity. New Life Tired of his former self, the Demon Leader discovered a portal leading to another universe. When he crossed it, he ended up in a different world called Sornieth. Shuten Doji ventured this new reality, met unusual places and beings until he decided to settle down in the Shifting Expanse. There, in one of his explorations, he met a beautiful foreign lady who immediately enchanted him. Just like him, she was seeking for a new home and the two soon bonded and became mates. Together they raised Kaminari Clan and transformed it into a sanctuary for anyone who seeks a new life and a place to call home. “Who was I? Let’s not talk about this...” When questioned about his past self, Shuten Doji usually evades the question in a subtle and way. It is well known that, in his universe, he used to be a ruthless and bloodthirsty demon whose rampages left behind destruction and death. Those day, however, are gone and he no more benefits from such violence, having found tranquility and peace in the Shifting Expanse. |

Present Life Shuten Doji is a fair and charming ruler, with an enjoyable personality. Although having an impulsive nature, his battle skills are formidable making him an impressive fighter. His knowledge of sorcery is also one of his best attributes and together with Sapphire they teach their family the ways of lightning bending. It is said that he is as strong as a god. His Duties Being one of the leaders and founders of Kaminari Clan is a great honor to him even thought he dislikes staying inside his nest all day dealing with administrative issues. That is why his beloved and mate for life, Sapphire, is the one responsible for this. While she manages the clan, he teaches and train the warriors. He is the blade and pride of his lair while she is the mind and soul. It is a nice way to keep the balance and it has worked for years. |

 SAPPHIRE With dazzling eyes and beautiful sapphire skin, she is considered the fairest of her family. Founder and leader of Kaminari Clan, together with her mate, Shuten Doji, she is responsible for administrating the clan. With her extensive knowledge in the arcane arts, she was able to study lightning magic and become a lightning bender. Now she teaches the young ones and new members the lightning path. Although she almost never laughs Sapphire has a great humor and is a caring leader, being loved by the whole clan. She mights seems austere at first sight, with analytical eyes, but if you know her well you’ll soon realize she is the complete opposite and is, in fact, a serene soul. She often acts like a great mother, treating every dragon in her clan as her own blood. |
 AEOLUS Originally from Southern Icefield, Aeolus was born with a mutation which granted him more than a pair of eyes. Still young he chose to leave his former clan and search for adventure, so he traveled the whole world until he met Sapphire and Shuten Doji at the Shifting Expanse. They became good friends and Aeolus decided to settle down and live with them. With an easy-going, funny and trustworthy personality, Aeolus is a good fellow to have around. He is a close friend of Sapphire and Shuten Doji and is one of the clan counselors. Being the fastest of the clan, he received the title Raijin and uses his skill to also keep watch, looking for dragons who might need help. |
