An appreciator of the fine arts, Vivaldi enjoys music and poetry and devotes all his spare time to practicing these crafts. His instruments of choice are the violin and harp, both of which he made himself. His poetry is mostly for his eyes only, but he does share his works with his mate, Opheodrys. When he isn’t out foraging or performing menial tasks for the clan, Vivaldi is most often found in his mate’s den, playing soothing music to her wildlife patients or reading her his latest love poems (which are all written for her). The Skydancer is very romantically attached to his mate and has eyes for no other female in the clan. Opheodrys was quickly won over by Vivaldi’s way with words. Instead of bringing her a large piece of game or precious jewels to win her favor, he wrote a love ballad for her: an exquisite melody for the violin. Upon hearing his devotion through his song, Opheodrys found herself unable to refuse him. It didn’t take long for the pair to become almost inseparable. Many of the clan’s warriors appreciate the beauty in Vivaldi’s art and recognize his talent, frequently requesting his presence at feasts or in celebration of their latest conquest. Although Vivaldi doesn’t engage in bloodshed himself, he is happy to support the clan in any way he can and is especially reverent of the clan’s females. Since writing his first love song for his mate, Vivaldi has written many songs dedicated to the clan’s females, to honor their achievements and talents in the only way he knows how. For their part, the females are deeply affectionate of the musician and are constantly showering him with fresh food from their hunts or ink for his quills, imploring him to play “just one more song” for them. Vivaldi always obliges and finds fulfillment in bringing joy to or easing the pains of clan members with his music.
