Spectre the Duskwalker, son of Melusine the Dawnlight Queen and Maelstrom the Vigilante King, and oldest of the Hewn Triad, the three youngest of the original king and queen of the Morning Rose Tribe who have dedicated their lives to living in the Hewn City as a trio of comrades for one reason or another.

Spectre dwells the ancient city without repose, some joking that he was a Snapper in a past life, his one mission being to repel the forces of darkness and guard any travelers or researchers from the ghastly apparitions and bloodthirsty monsters within the ruins. As he has learned from the mistakes his father made via listening to stories, he knows full well he cannot undertake this alone, and alongside the occasional help of his siblings, he has formed a pack within the phantom metropolis that has been dubbed the Starlight Guard. Very few have ever heard his voice, even members of the Starlight Guard as he's only ever spoken to them through body language and the occasional grunt, only speaking to his parents and his siblings, and even then, his voice is kept low and quiet so only those very close by can hear. While he is respected and admired by the Starlight Guard, many agree that he can be cold and prickly, even without saying a word. With a single steely glare and a swift back-turn, he can show his disapproval quite harshly.
Spectre is a master of stealth and is difficult to track, and has little tolerance for failure on his guard's part. He will only give you two chances to prove your worth or he will insist you get out. However, he is only this hard because the lives of others are on the line as he and the Starlight Guard patrol the Hewn City. In spite of his gruff attitude, he has a lot of compassion, and only took this job on in the first place not for glory but for the sake of having others survive such a daunting area.
