Biography
Smart, Prankster, Rule-breaker, Glib
When he was a hatchling, as is custom, Illusion's parents had him tending the wares at the action house, so that passing customers would potentially ask to take him into their clan. However, those who stopped by never seemed to connect.
However this all changed the day that StarBorn led a routine seminar to teach the clan workings to some new members. She was demonstrating the proper enchantment to open the lair entrance, a spell kept from hatchlings so they could not wander out unsupervised. Though she saw Illusion watching she did not believe he could understand the incantation she was saying, as she was a fae and he a coatl. Imagine her surprise when she later saw the hatchling trying to sneak out using the spell. She called out to the newcomers, asking who had broken the rules and taught a child how to get out of the lair. Not wanting anyone to falsely take the blame for him, he told StarBorn how he had come up with a spell to understand fae dragons a couple of weeks ago. Impressed, she asked if he would show her the spell he was using to understand her. He said he would do it if she would teach him how to levitate things.
Thus Illusion became StarBorn's protege and heir. Even the Arcanist himself recognized the coatl's talent, gifting him with an extra pair of wings and a glowing rune upon his head to mark him as a true son of the Starfall Isles. Though ultimately the spell he devised to communicate with fae only works for him at the moment, he still strives to make it useable for all.
