FAYE
son of the stars

Faye is one of three Kaeran princes, along with his siblings Silas and Subin. He's unknowingly popular across the world for his pink hair and psychic abilities, though in Kaerus the rarity of both has lead to the majority of the country shunning him his whole life. While he has always received unconditional love and support from his family and his closest friend, Akii, being an outcast has left Faye with very low self-worth since he was a child and has lead him to be a rather unmotivated and depressed person.

Although in a constant mental low, Faye has always done his best to be polite and is always looking to be helpful. Ironically, he's an exceptionally good therapist for everyone but himself, and his family will usually go to him if they're troubled. He tries not to boast about it and will often claim it's "just part of being psychic", but he knows it's something he excels in. Faye also helps his father, Vero, create fuctional brain-powered prosthetic limbs. They're currently working on bringing the sense of touch back to them, with Vero's own metal leg as the test subject.

Faye's ultimate passions however, have nothing to do with his powers. In his own time he loves to design and even create his own clothes, and desires to have his own fashion line to take pride in. Unfortunately he holds a firm belief that his reputation wouldn't let a brand with his name on it take off, which impedes his progress and leaves him to get lost in his own negative thoughts. While his self-doubt has often lead to the worst, Faye could always find solace in one place: the night sky. He'll sit outside on rooftops and spend hours staring, unsure as to why. He tells others it's just an obsession, but in reality he feels there's something more - that there's a reason he's so drawn to the stars, and perhaps that they're calling out to him.

While Faye is the youngest of three siblings, he is Vero and HaYun's first and only biological child. The two were unable - and rather unwilling - to conceive a child together through regular means, yet HaYun wanted to be a mother. Being best friends, Vero offered his help and to father her child. HaYun then underwent multiple medical treatments, until one day Faye was brought into the world. The entire process lead to several groundbreaking discoveries in life magic. It is believed that being what was essentially an experiment is what lead to Faye's rare powers and previously unheard of appearance.

♦ Despite his low self esteem, Faye prefers to wear rather revealing clothing.
♦ He is always wearing several pieces of jewellery, often being gifts from others. His favourite is a ring from his mother.
♦ Thanks to being friends with Akii all his life, he is completely unphased by ghosts and has mostly overcome his fear of insects.
♦ He has always wanted a hairless cat.
♦ When startled, he tends to either jolt upward or accidentally teleport away.
