April (They really prefer the nickname Miracle. It's nice and doesn't sound stupid.) had found the clan small and struggling, a single mother and a sickly, demanding hatchling scrounging what they could out of the fleshy dirt. Be it from pity or chance, they had made the choice to stick around and help, only really intending to pass by as soon as they were done to avoid catching whatever disease was rattling about the wasteland. Turns out that they grew almost immediately attached and couldn't help themself. Utilising her experience in restorative magic and uncannily honed sense of direction, they prevent this entire team from falling apart. Their grandmotherly attitude and appearance isn't all that's to them, though. They're a notorious cheater in card games (they're all but banned from the fairgrounds. but keep sneaking in anyway.) and enjoys seeing just what the upper limit of 'too poisonous to eat without keeling over' is.
